Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | Weekend and holiday availability required (at least 8 weekends per contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a combined Adult/Pediatric, non-trauma Emergency Department with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform triage assessments and manage a diverse patient population across acuity levels
• Administer blood products, manage central lines, perform phlebotomy, and start IVs
• Administer continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation
• Manage ventilated patients, interpret ABGs, and operate CPAP/BiPAP equipment
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Active RN license must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background check cases permitted
• Current driver's license required to verify address
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department setting
• Familiarity with procedural sedation and critical care interventions in an ED environment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
