Job Summary:   

The Sundial Lodge ski valet is responsible for creating a welcoming first impression to guests and condo owners including timely delivery, retrieval, and storage of ski/snowboard gear and luggage. Provide immediate and courteous service. Responsible for the cleanliness of the Ski Lounge and storage areas. 

Job Specifications: 

• Starting Wage: $15/hr + tips
  • If hired into a tipped position, guaranteed to make a minimum of $20/hour, inclusive of tips (Add this bullet only for tipped roles) 
• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 
• Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available
• Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age 
• Housing Availability: No  

Job Responsibilities:  

• Prompt retrieval and storage of guest's snow gear and luggage. 
• Maintain up-to-date inventory of all stored ski/snowboard gear, including guest contact info, confidentially handling guest information.
• Handle guest complaints and questions in a calm, professional manner. 
• Greeting guests by name and engaging in conversation. Provide recommendations for terrain based on skill level and other points of interest.
• Watch for guests arriving, coming to retrieve items, and returning to the lodge.
• Maintain a clean working area outside and in ski storage. 

Job Requirements:

• Able to move safely in a fast-paced, multitasked environment.
• Able to operate the computer program used to store skis, snowboards, and boots.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, move large rolling racks safely, and store/retrieve items overhead.
• Able to work any day, including weekends and holidays.
• Punctual for shifts, even in inclement weather.
• Report tips earned daily.
  Cooperative attitude – takes direction from peers and managers.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

The expected pay range is $15/hr + tips. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
