Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

Job Summary:

The per diem registered nurse will provide essential inpatient care during a strike period, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards. The role requires rapid onboarding and adherence to strict certification and licensing requirements to maintain operational readiness.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer patient care in accordance with established clinical protocols and hospital policies.
  
  
• 
  Verify active nursing license, certifications, and vaccination records prior to assignment.
  
  
• 
  Utilize EPIC electronic health record system efficiently to document patient information and clinical notes.
  
  
• 
  Attend mandatory orientation sessions to ensure preparedness for strike duty.
  
  
• 
  Complete and submit manual timesheets for any shifts not recorded within the VMS system, with department director approval.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with all state and facility-specific healthcare regulations.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a current, active nursing license in the state of practice.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC healthcare software.
  
  
• 
  Possess current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
  
  
• 
  Provide proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or valid vaccination/declination attestation.
  
  
• 
  Have previous inpatient nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Be available for immediate start and flexible scheduling during the strike period.
