Lab AssistantSupport microbiology testing by preparing, processing, and tracking samples while maintaining an organized and efficient laboratory environment.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and process samples for testing.Label, track, and store samples accurately.Maintain laboratory supplies and equipment.Perform environmental swabbing and routine lab tasks.Complete daily sample counts and productivity metrics.Clean and sanitize laboratory work areas.Assist with laboratory projects and continuous improvement efforts.QualificationsHigh school diploma required; science coursework or degree preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or laboratory experience is a plus.Fast-paced microbiology laboratory supporting dietary supplement and probiotic testing with a focus on quality and turnaround times.1st shift hoursThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
