Total Rewards Analyst

Overview

Our client is seeking a Total Rewards Analyst to support the administration and continuous improvement of compensation, benefits, retirement, and HRIS programs. This role is ideal for an analytical HR professional with strong retirement benefits experience who is eager to expand their expertise across the broader Total Rewards function.

Working closely with HR, Finance, and business leaders, you'll help ensure Total Rewards programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with organizational objectives. You'll also play an important role in supporting Workday processes, reporting, and data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

Benefits & Retirement (Primary Focus)

• Support the administration, communication, and continuous improvement of employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and wellness offerings.
• Manage retirement plan administration, ensuring audits are completed accurately and on schedule while identifying opportunities to improve processes and compliance.
• Assist with benefits compliance activities and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Help develop employee communications and educational materials related to benefits programs.

Compensation

• Conduct market research and compensation benchmarking to support competitive pay practices.
• Assist with annual compensation planning activities, including merit increases and incentive programs.
• Support the preparation of the annual proxy statement.
• Assist with the administration of short-term and long-term incentive plans, including calculations and payment processing.

Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations related to compensation, benefits, and Total Rewards programs.
• Analyze workforce and Total Rewards data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Measure the effectiveness of Total Rewards programs by evaluating employee engagement, retention, and participation metrics.

HRIS & Process Improvement

• Support the configuration, testing, and maintenance of Workday processes related to annual compensation and benefits programs, including open enrollment, merit planning, and incentive programs.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify and implement Workday enhancements that improve the employee and manager experience.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data while supporting process improvements and system optimization.

Collaboration

• Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and business leaders to support Total Rewards initiatives.
• Communicate compensation and benefits programs effectively to employees and leaders, helping improve understanding and engagement.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects focused on enhancing the employee experience and Total Rewards strategy.

Qualifications

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting retirement benefits or Total Rewards programs.
• Experience working with HRIS platforms.
• Understanding of retirement, benefits, and compensation regulations and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop recommendations.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
