Virtua Health is committed to providing exceptional care to the communities in South Jersey. We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team in Voorhees at 100 Bowman Drive. This position requires on-site presence and full-time commitment with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm.

The role involves providing secretarial and administrative support in a hospital, clinic, or laboratory environment. Responsibilities include compiling information for recording, preparing reports, screening and directing telephone calls, scheduling appointments, greeting patients and visitors, and maintaining patient flow. The position also requires handling mail, general registration and billing, acting as a liaison with billing services, producing and maintaining documentation and reports, scheduling management appointments, assisting in orienting new staff, maintaining office equipment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications include proficiency in computer use, knowledge of medical terminology, excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, familiarity with department policies, and one year of experience in a medical setting. A high school diploma or G.E.D. is required, with an associate's degree in Medical Secretarial Science being preferred.
