Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

• Schedule: ASAP - Ongoing
• Job Setting: Hospital (12-bed department); Inpatient
• Patient Encounters Per Shift: 3-8
• Nearest Airport: RDU
• Lodging: On-site call room available or local hotel options (ask for LifePoint corporate rate)
• Types of Cases:
  • Low risk and high risk pregnancy management
  • FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
  • OB Ultrasounds - Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic)
  • Amniocentesis
  • Routine vaginal delivery
  • Low forceps delivery (preferred)
  • Decision-making for C-section
  • C-section
  • Breech delivery
  • Multiple births
  • Abruptions
  • Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
  • Surgical gynecology - Open and Laparoscopic (diagnostic/minor)
  • Operative/major gynecology - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's (preferred)
  • Laser certification required
  • Circumcisions - current experience required
• Credentialing: Estimated 15 days; Fellowship level 2
• Facility Trauma Level: Pediatric Level 2

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certification required (minimum Board Eligible)
• Certifications:
  • ACLS - Required
  • PALS - Required
  • Other - Required
• Licensure: Active North Carolina (NC) medical license required; clean history required
