Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to
Warren, Michigan three times per week. This may change in the future.
The Role
This individual will be responsible for throughput analysis and simulation of new Vehicle programs
throughout all phases of the Global Vehicle Development Process. This individual will collaborate with
Manufacturing Engineering centers in the design and optimization of current and future manufacturing
systems and will support plants in throughput improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Implement simulation deliverables for assigned new/major vehicle programs.
- Run analyses & experiments, interpret results, and generate standard reports, including results and potential improvements
- Respond to throughput simulation pulls from assigned manufacturing facilities
- Support ME optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
- Extract necessary inputs from Manufacturing Planning Engineering documents
- Coordinate with MSIE, GA, Conveyor, and IE organizations
- Utilize and contribute to the improvement of standardized work and lessons learned
- Deliver results to customers
- Interface with Execution and Process Leads to support total plant throughput strategy
- Interface with Execution and Process teams to validate update Data Sets
- Occasional travel (5-10%)
