Caliente Resort is hiring an experienced Line Cook to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. Your culinary skills and attention to detail will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. We’re looking for motivated individuals who thrive on teamwork, enjoy food preparation, and are eager to develop their culinary expertise.

Duties

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Ensure all food is prepared safely, maintaining proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative dish ideas and ensuring consistency in presentation
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and utensils throughout shifts
• Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food with precision and efficiency
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and uphold quality standards
• Follow all food safety regulations and document food temperatures, storage, and handling procedures

Requirements

• Proven culinary experience in fine dining or restaurant settings preferred
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with meal preparation and food service operations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
• Prior kitchen experience in the food industry or catering environments is a plus
• Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment background check prior to offer of employment
• Must have SERV Safe certification or take the company provided course
• Be willing to shifts during the day, evenings and holidays
