Equity Research Analyst

Overview The role would include fundamental, bottom-up equity research and communication of investment insights to the investment team. This includes building models on covered companies, following developments, evaluating business quality, constructing valuation frameworks, and performing independent research. Responsibilities Picking up a coverage universe of existing and potential equity investments and conducting fundamental, bottom-up research. This would include: building models on covered companies, following fundamental developments, evaluating business quality, constructing a valuation framework, doing independent research and much more. Engagement with covered company contacts and industry experts Effectively communicating relevant information to the investment team and participating in the buy/sell decision process. Adhere to the firm’s investment philosophy of investing in companies that can consistently increase their dividends over the long term. Over time, there would be an expectation to communicate our investment process, philosophy and portfolio developments to our partner clients. Qualifications Passion for investing, specifically with a long-term, quality bias Internally motivated, intellectually curious and independent judgement Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation Experience in equity analysis Ability to communicate and articulate investment rationale, investment process and firm philosophy. #J-18808-Ljbffr CFA Institute
