Nuclear Medicine Specialist – Full Time 26004749 Work location: Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker, Plano, TX 75093 & Texas Health Frisco, 12400 N Dallas Parkway, Frisco Texas Work hours: Full Time, 32 Hours, Days, 4 days per week; Will work three days at Texas Health Plano and one day at Texas Health Frisco; Seven days of call per month Nuclear Medicine Department Highlights Small Team Basic Nuclear exams High volume of cardiac exams Inter hospital teamwork Here’s What You Need Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or nuclear medicine required or Associates Degree preferred 2 Years in nuclear medicine preferred ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Nuclear Medicine upon hire required or CNMT - Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist upon hire required and CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist either by the TDH or TMB upon hire required and BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required What You Will Do Explain procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam Position patient to correct anatomical area of interest Perform complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations Adjust technique parameters appropriately for age related factors Assist radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique Maintain attention to details Process and manipulate images, analyzes image quality, troubleshoots, makes technique adjustments, or repeat procedures as needed 8.
