WANTED Licensed Massage Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Massage Therapist to join our wellness team for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for patient care, a comprehensive understanding of anatomy and physiology, and experience in delivering therapeutic massage treatments. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' health and well-being through personalized therapy sessions.

Days and hours we are looking to fill:

Tuesday: 8:00pm to 6:00pm

Thursday: 8:00am to 6:00pm

Saturday: negotiable 6 hour shift

Days are fixed, hours are negotiable

Responsibilities

• Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques including but not limited to deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address patient needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop customized treatment plans targeting pain management and muscle relaxation.
• Educate patients on self-care practices, occupational health, and injury prevention strategies.
• Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, progress notes, and patient records in compliance with healthcare standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimal outcomes.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all clients while adhering to sanitation protocols
• Launder used massage sheets ONSITE
• Perform secretarial duties for Saturday massages
• Stay current with industry advancements, certifications, and best practices in medical massage therapy.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid licensure as a Massage Therapist with appropriate state certification or licensing requirements fulfilled.
• Proven experience in patient service, including patient assessment and pain management techniques.
• Proficiency in advanced massage modalities such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
• Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse clients.
• Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is preferred.
