Milwaukee, Wisconsin - Hybrid (3-4 days per week onsite)

$230-000-250,000 Base Salary + Bonus

THE COMPANY

Harnham is partnering with a well-established industrial manufacturing business that develops specialized metal joining solutions for customers across highly regulated and technically demanding sectors, including aerospace, automotive, HVAC, medical, defense, and electrical manufacturing.

The organization is at a pivotal stage in its digital transformation journey. Following a significant enterprise systems modernization program, the business is investing in stronger data capabilities, AI adoption, process automation, and technology leadership to unlock greater operational efficiency and commercial insight.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the company's data and AI strategy while also providing broader technology leadership across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the development and execution of the organization's Data, AI, and Technology strategy.
• Build the data foundations required for effective AI adoption, including governance, quality, architecture, and management processes.
• Partner with Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Sales teams to identify high-value opportunities for analytics, automation, and AI.
• Drive the evolution of reporting, business intelligence, and data management capabilities across the organization.
• Identify and implement AI-enabled solutions that improve operational efficiency, decision-making, and business performance.
• Lead and develop a technology team of approximately 10 employees while building additional capabilities where required.
• Provide strategic guidance on emerging technologies, helping the business translate innovation into measurable value.
• Oversee broader technology initiatives and contribute to the ongoing modernization of enterprise systems and processes.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Required

• Proven experience leading Data, Analytics, AI, or Technology functions within a complex business environment.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data management, reporting, business intelligence, and enterprise data strategy.
• Experience driving technology transformation and delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement automation and AI solutions within operational environments.
• Previous people leadership experience, including building, developing, and managing technical teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively from executive leadership through to operational teams.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional functions including Finance, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, and Procurement.

Preferred

• Manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or supply chain industry experience.
• Experience supporting ERP transformation programs.
• Knowledge of Power BI, enterprise data warehouses, analytics platforms, and modern AI technologies.
• Experience working with commodity-driven, pricing-intensive, or highly operational businesses.
