Job Title: Kitchen Prep Cook / Food Prep (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Pay: Starting at $19.00/hour + Tips

Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Shift Preference: Morning shifts preferred for part-time candidates

About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Food Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will help prepare ingredients, maintain food safety standards, and ensure our kitchen is organized and set up for smooth lunch and dinner services.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, chop, slice, and portion ingredients (vegetables, meats, sauces).
• Follow recipes, food preparation guidelines, and portion controls accurately.
• Label, date, rotate, and properly store ingredients according to health department standards (FIFO).
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized prep station and dish/storage areas.
• Assist kitchen leads and line cooks with prep tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous kitchen or prep experience preferred, but motivated candidates with a strong work ethic are welcome to apply!
• Comfortable using knives and standard commercial kitchen equipment safely.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and take direction well.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
• Availability for morning shifts (especially for part-time applicants).
• Food Handler certificate (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).
