About the Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locums coverage in Dublin, Georgia . This is an excellent opportunity for an EM physician, including qualified new graduates, to practice in a busy community emergency department.

Position Highlights

• Shift Length: 12-hour shifts

• Coverage: Both day and night shifts

• ED Volume: Approximately 54,000 visits annually

• ED Bays: 28

• Trauma Level: Level III

• Admission Rate: Approximately 15%

• Patient Population: Typical community/sole-community-hospital mix

• Triage: Nurse/APP triage available for lower-acuity patients

• Support: Standard emergency department clinical support staff

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all acuity levels.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to the emergency department.

• Manage medical and traumatic emergencies in a Level III Trauma Center.

• Perform appropriate emergency procedures and stabilization as clinically indicated.

• Collaborate with nursing, APPs, and other members of the emergency department team.

• Admit, transfer, or discharge patients as appropriate.

• Provide timely and accurate documentation of patient care.

Requirements

• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine – REQUIRED

• New graduates accepted , provided they are EM Board Certified

• Active Georgia medical license
