Care Specialist (Nurse Educator) - San Juan, Puerto Rico (National)

IQVIA seeks a registered nurse-based Care Specialist in San Juan, Puerto Rico to deliver patient education on prescribed therapies, health insurance navigation, and treatment adherence. The field-based role supports patients across multiple conditions through in-person, virtual, and community interactions while managing assigned caseloads across a geographic territory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver approved education on products, administration, disease state, adherence, and health literacy to patients on designated therapies
• Educate patients and caregivers on health insurance, coverage processes, access pathways, and affordability resources within program parameters
• Manage assigned patient caseload and geographic territory, document interactions accurately, and coordinate across partners
• Provide injection or administration training when appropriately trained and authorized
• Contribute field insights to develop and improve patient programs, educational materials, and service delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Current, unrestricted LPN or RN license for Puerto Rico
• Active CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Minimum two years patient education, community outreach, case management, or health-related experience
• Fluency in English and Spanish, written and verbal
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, full insurance coverage, and ability to travel throughout Puerto Rico
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital case-management tools
