Child Care Teacher – Full Time
We Are the Future Child Development Center is seeking a dependable and caring Child Care Teacher to join our team in San Juan, Texas. This position is responsible for providing a safe, positive, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday
11:00 AM–6:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Assist with age-appropriate learning activities, play, and daily classroom routines.
- Create a positive, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment.
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom.
- Communicate professionally with parents, families, and other staff members.
- Follow center policies and applicable Texas childcare licensing requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous childcare or early childhood education experience preferred.
- Dependable and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to successfully complete required background checks.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
- Must meet applicable Texas childcare licensing requirements.
