Parts Business Systems Analyst

Position: Parts Business Systems Analyst Location: 2 Rivergreen Drive Job Id: 500 # of Openings: 1 Key Responsibilities Data Analysis & Reporting Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and operational analytics sourced from the Excede SQL Server database. Analyze inventory performance, parts turns, stocking levels, sales trends, back‑counter and outside sales, and other KPIs to support department decision‑making. Build ad‑hoc analyses for department leadership, including custom SQL queries, Excel models, and BI visualizations. Software Development & Automation Design, build, and maintain scripts, integrations, and automations that extend Excede and streamline parts workflows. Develop and consume REST APIs to connect Excede with OEM systems (DTNA and others), third‑party tools, and internal utilities. Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures against the Excede database for reporting, reconciliation, and automation. Document solutions for maintainability and knowledge transfer. Parts Department Operations Support inventory management activities, including cycle counts, reconciliation, obsolescence tracking, and data cleanup in Excede. Assist with general parts department tasks as needed to support the team during peak periods or coverage gaps. Partner with parts staff and management to translate operational pain points into technical solutions. IT Support (Remote Hands) Provide on‑site assistance for IT issues when remote support requires local action (hardware swaps, network troubleshooting, peripheral setup, user support). Coordinate with internal or external IT resources to resolve issues efficiently. Qualifications Working knowledge of the Procede Excede DMS, its data model, workflows, and parts module. Proficiency in SQL (Microsoft SQL Server preferred), including querying, joins, and basic performance tuning. Experience building or consuming REST APIs for system integration. Scripting and automation experience (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or similar). Familiarity with heavy‑truck or automotive dealership parts operations strongly preferred. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical colleagues. Reliable, organized, and able to prioritize competing requests across operational and technical work. Schedule Part‑time, with flexibility to align hours with department needs.
