Internal Medicine Physician
Established medical group is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to work in the Providence, RI area. The position offers a competitive salary range of $220,000 to $250,000 per year, 2 months paid time off, and benefits including medical, dental and vision, life and retirement with up to 3% match. License and DEA fees are covered at 100% and student loan repayment programs are available.
Responsibilities
- Mon‑Friday outpatient primary care in Providence, RI – 40 hours per week (32 clinical, 8 administrative)
- Use of NEXGEN EMR and participation in a 6‑ to 7‑week shared call schedule (one week each provider, Monday 8 a.m. to Monday 8 a.m.)
- Phone triage only with up to 20 patients per day; no double‑booking
- Team environment with two physicians, seven NPs, one midwife and two psychiatric NPs; shared nursing staff (1 nurse per 1.75 providers)
- Opportunity to teach/precept NP students
Qualifications
- Board certification (or board‑eligible with a timeline for completion) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active Rhode Island Medical License
