Responsibilities: As a school-based occupational therapists with EJ Therapy, you will work with students in educational environments to support their ability to participate successfully in school activities. Responsibilities include: Conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing treatment to address a variety of occupational therapy needs, including fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, visual perceptual skills, and self-care skills. Collaborating with other therapists, teachers, and intervention specialists to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Providing counseling and education to families on how to address their child’s occupational therapy needs. Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records. Qualifications: Valid Ohio Occupational Therapy license or eligible to obtain one. Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Education: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy Experience: Any level of experience welcome, including new graduates.
