Join us and EVOLVE your future at Specialty Building Products! We are currently looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician on 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Salary range would be $40 -$60,000 based on experience, to join our VALUES based organization. In this role you will focus on:Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, machinery, and building systemsWorking with outside vendors on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems and issues.Troubleshoot and repair production support equipment and facility issuesInspect facility equipment and identify safety hazards or maintenance needsMaintain lighting, doors, flooring, walls, and general building upkeepAssist with installation and relocation of machinery and equipmentOperate maintenance tools, forklifts, lifts, and other equipment safelyKeep maintenance logs, work orders, and inspection records up to dateRespond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairsEnsure compliance with OSHA, safety policies, and company proceduresMaintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and toolsSupport continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiativesInstall, add, modify machine lines and machine systems / subsystems as needed.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredTechnical certification or vocational training preferred2+ years of facility or building maintenance experience preferredKnowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systemsAbility to use hand and power tools safelyStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditionsValid driver's license may be requiredBeing a part of SBP you will be eligible for many benefits.
