Ensure entire facility is in good working order and is maintained in accordance with company standards and expectations of the administrator. 2. Ensure timely response and resolution to all maintenance concerns for the facility. 3. Attend in-service training programs for maintenance employees. 4. Dispense maintenance equipment and supplies in a cost-effective manner. 5. Identify, report to administration and schedule repair of areas in poor repair. 6. Supervise and ensure proper care and use of maintenance equipment. 7. Identify, report to administration and schedule repair of any equipment malfunction. 8. Supervise and ensure completion of all maintenance procedures in accordance with facility policy. 9. Organize and maintain all records necessary to operate the maintenance department. 10.Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all areas of the facility. 11.Interview and hire appropriate individuals to implement maintenance schedules. 12.Orient new employees to maintenance duties. 13.Assist in maintaining the facility MSDS data sheets for all chemicals utilized within the facility. 14.Observe infection control procedures. 15.Ensure the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process is followed in accordance to State & Federal Guidelines. 16.Follow Residents’ Rights policies at all times. 17.Adhere to all facility policies & procedures and ensure they are adhered to by all responsible parties and carry out disciplinary action for non-compliance as appropriate. 18.Ensure adherence to the Corporate Integrity Program and the Performance Expectations at all times. 19.Perform other related duties as directed by the Administrator and/or person of authority #FSHP Qualifications Skills Behaviors Motivations Education Experience Licenses & Certifications Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.For further information, please review the Know Your Rights notice from the Department of Labor. #J-18808-Ljbffr
