This role will play a key part in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting, overseeing accounting operations, and partnering across functions to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting professional with experience in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.What You DoPerform accounting functions, including month-end close, intercompany accounting, leases, financial reporting, and fixed assetsManage/prepare taxes; corporate income tax, indirect taxes (sales and use tax), and other taxes/business licensesSupport the Accounts Payable function on month-end tasks related to prepaids, accruals, and vendor managementPrepare and review closing journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliationsSupport annual audit and liaise with external auditors, ensuring all schedules and documentation are prepared accurately and on timeAid in compliance with internal controls, and corporate policiesAssists with various accounting functions in problem resolution as needed and special projectsYou'll GainA wealth of experience within the finance and accounting umbrella of a growing global brandCross functional exposure of the operations in luxury beautyCollaboration and partnership with key stakeholders across the organizationInsight into the operations of Unilever Prestige, and the other brands within the portfolioYou'll Love This Job IfYou are extremely organized: You are not overwhelmed by the thought of tackling multiple tasks at a time.You are detail oriented: You appreciate the importance of having detailed and precise information.You are a strong communicator: You are a people person, natural leader and collaborate well with others.You are agile: You adapt well to changing needs and priorities and are able to pivot easily to achieve goals and deadlines.You are creative: You are innovative and forward-thinking in your approach and mindset.You are highly strategic: You are able to develop creative concepts and vision that support brand and business goals.QualificationsMinimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in consumer/manufacturing industryBA/BS requiredCPA preferredStrong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and internal controls frameworksAudit or Big4 experience a strong plusProficient in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft ExcelExcellent analytical skills and knowledge of data management toolsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly collaborative, detail oriented and resourcefulMust be able to work from Corporate Office at least 60% of the timeThe expected base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000.
