Our team is responsible for delivering contract excellence that powers advanced munitions development, production, and sustainment.What You Will Be DoingAs the Contracts Manager you will be responsible for leading contract activities that enable the Precision Fires Line of Business to meet its mission objectives.Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Lead a team of contracts professionals supporting Precision Fires development, production, and sustainment contracts (USG, FMS, DCS).Build effective relationships with internal and external customers to influence outcomes and secure win‑win solutions.Lead cross‑functional teams to propose, negotiate, and execute contracts from capture through award, execution, and closeout.Provide business advice and coordinate with program, finance, legal, and other functions to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.Manage audits, training, and reporting to maintain contractual compliance and drive continuous improvement. Serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer buying representatives responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives.Coordinate solutions, advise Contracts and Program leadership of contractual rights, obligations, risks, and customer concerns related to company performance. Ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions.- Lead and manage audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance. Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations. Develop and lead training of Contracts team on contracts policies and procedures. Collect contractual data and compiles reports in response to Corporate and Business Area requests.
