Job Description East Greenbush, NY | $100,000–$125,000 base salary plusbonus | First-shift schedule with on-call, off-hours, and weekend responsibilities Turn maintenance expertise into better plant performance A food manufacturing business is looking for a Plant Maintenance Manager who can connect technical problem-solving with effective team leadership. The focus is practical: identify recurring equipment issues, plan maintenance more effectively, improve parts availability, and help the team deliver lasting repairs. You will have responsibility across production equipment and facility maintenance, with opportunities to influence upgrades and project execution. Your impact Set maintenance priorities around equipment condition, production needs, and safe operation. Build reliable preventive and predictive maintenance routines. Develop supervisors and maintenance employees through clear direction, training, and accountability. Use maintenance systems to organize work, prepare parts, and make planned downtime more productive. Control repair costs and support equipment modifications and smaller capital improvements. Your background 6+ years of maintenance, mechanical engineering, or related experience, including leadership of a technical team. Proven ability to improve equipment reliability and put maintenance processes into practice. Practical experience with work planning, maintenance software, spare-parts/MRO management, and safe equipment maintenance. An undergraduate degree or equivalent education and experience. Availability for onsite work and participation in on-call, off-hours, and weekend coverage. U.S. work authorization without employer sponsorship. Experience that stands out Maintenance experience in food or beverage production. One or more years managing a maintenance organization.
