We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a pay rate of $25/hr. however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Summary:

• Field labor activities occur outdoors for long periods of time with exposure to the elements.

• Team members may need to drive company vehicles during work hours.

• Compliance with company and USDA-APHIS trainings and policies is required.

• Individuals may also be responsible for the operation and preventive maintenance of farm/research equipment in assigned areas.

• Assisting with planting, staking research plots, pollinating, data collection using electronic devices, research plot maintenance, weeding, hand harvest, process improvement projects, preventive maintenance of equipment, aiding with spraying, and other special projects.

Skills/Experience:

• Valid driver's license.

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.

• Experience with or ability to learn Microsoft Office and iOS devices for data collection.

• Ability to perform repetitive job tasks accurately.
