What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and complex clinical lab tests-chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-following established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, resolve inconsistencies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Keep detailed documentation of procedures, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining lab quality benchmarks.
• Uphold a safe, organized workspace while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification, alongside ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Ensure current certification is maintained throughout your tenure.
