Description - What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-chemistry, hematology, immunology, among others-following established protocols diligently.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and ensure preventative maintenance and calibration of lab instruments.
• Assist with sample collection and prepare specimens for analysis as necessary.
• Document all procedures meticulously, train new personnel or students, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, secure work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT Certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) achieved within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout employment.
