Prefer being behind the scenes and making things happen? Our Kitchen Staff / Back of House team is essential to keeping the shop running smoothly. From prepping fresh ingredients to keeping everything clean and organized, you’ll help build the foundation that ensures quality and consistency in every cup and bite we serve.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items such as pastries and other light menu offerings
- Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, kitchen tools, and work areas
- Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine
- Keep dish and prep stations clean, organized, and stocked
- Receive, organize, and store deliveries properly
- Dispose of garbage frequently and follow sanitation standards
- Support the Front of House team with restocking and prep during peak hours
- Follow all food safety, health, and hygiene protocols
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and follow directions
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of cleanliness and organization
- Prior kitchen, dishwashing, or prep experience is preferred but not required
