Job Title: Home Health Aide (HHA) Location: Waterview Nursinmg Care Center Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Nursing Supervisor / RN Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our care team at Waterview Nursing Care Center, a skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centered care to our residents. The HHA will assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring their comfort, dignity, and overall well-being in accordance with each resident's care plan and under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Key Responsibilities Monitor and report changes in residents' physical or emotional conditions to nursing staff Provide companionship and emotional support to residents Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents Help residents with exercises and mobility as directed by care plans or physical therapy Assist with feeding residents and ensuring proper hydration Document care provided and resident responses accurately and in a timely manner Comply with all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Maintain resident confidentiality and uphold dignity and respect at all times Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Valid HHA certification in the state of [State] CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or required depending on state) Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and staff Physical ability to lift, move, and assist residents as needed Strong organizational and time-management skills Working Conditions: Fast-paced healthcare environment with direct patient care Potential exposure to infectious diseases and bodily fluids Requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting residents regularly Waterview Nursing Care Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
