Job Summary:
The position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) services, with a focus on Open Heart (OH) procedures, located in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and standard practices, ensuring high-quality perioperative patient care.

Job Details:

• Location: Fort Smith, AR
• Shift: Days (4x10)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours
• Required Qualifications: Current Arkansas Licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) and Vascular OR settings.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience assessing and planning perioperative nursing care, documenting interventions, and supporting surgical team needs.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Position involves working in an operating room environment with a focus on open heart procedures.
  • The candidate must complete patient assessments, develop and document plans of care, and anticipate the needs of surgical team members.
  • Flu vaccination is required; exemption must be client approved.
