Support Engineer II - SQL

Support Engineer II – Full-time Essential Functions: This key individual will serve as a Senior Support Engineer for clients of Aegis Premier Technologies. This is a mid‑level position that will exercise independent initiative with the authority to act to meet all requirements for the client. Diagnose and resolve customer inquiries related to operating the Aegis platform in their environment. Ensure all issues are resolved using the proper resources. Experience in writing optimized SQL queries and understanding complex stored procedures. Have worked on creating SQL views, functions, triggers, and stored procedures. Experience in fine tuning SQL queries. Manage communications to clients at all levels to maintain positive relationships. Utilize information tools, training and experience to provide high level of client satisfaction. Ensure all requests are resolved and/or followed up on a timely and consistent manner. Provide status updates for ongoing issues and issues escalated to other departments. Qualifications Excellent organizational, verbal communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills. Constructively work together as a team, sharing ideas and resources. Strong troubleshooting skills. Experience in MSSQL Server or other relational databases is must. Understand coding principles and languages used by developers. Education & Experience BS in Information Science preferred or equivalent work experience. 2+ years of experience in supporting mission‑critical applications. 3+ years of SQL development and script writing experience. Experience in using fundraising software is a plus (DonorPerfect, Raiser’s Edge, DonorPro, eTapestry, etc.).
