Nuclear Medicine Technologist
We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience. Experience with the following procedures is required: cardiac scans, stress rest tests, gastrics, HIDA scans, renal scans, bone scans, lung scans/perfusions (VQ scans), GI bleeds, parathyroids with Spec CT, and administration of i131. Candidates must also have experience with Siemens CKM and Siemens Symbia S. Siemens Prospecta experience is preferred, though not required. The technologist must be comfortable working independently as they may be the only Nuclear Medicine Technologist on shift. Support within the department includes management, house transport, and a small team of Nuclear Medicine Technologists during the week. There will be an RN available during weekends to assist with cardiac cases. On-call duties are required, with responses expected within one hour. Holiday on-call duties may be required. Candidates should be prepared for a set schedule, which will include weekend rotation. Scrub color is black. The unit culture is supportive and collaborative.
