Paralegal

We are seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and detail-oriented Paralegal to support our Employment Litigation practice group. Location: Mooresville, NC Key Responsibilities Conduct initial case assessments to identify and obtain relevant documents to assist counsel with employment litigation and administrative charges. Coordinate, schedule, and, when directed, interview custodians and witnesses to verify facts and identify relevant documents. Draft chronologies of relevant facts, documents, witnesses, and events to support assigned counsel. Under attorney supervision, gather, review, and organize information for discovery, early case assessment, and case review. Prepare initial drafts of responses to administrative agency requests for information and subpoenas, including identifying and gathering relevant documents and preparing written responses. Assist with presentations and briefings for internal business clients. Support attorneys with related projects by conducting research, gathering key documents, and organizing files. Compile information and prepare internal reports, including forecasts, project updates, legal invoices, accounting information, and data from various databases. Required Qualifications High School Diploma with 8 years of experience working in a corporate legal department or law firm; OR Associate's Degree with 4 years of experience working in a corporate legal department or law firm; OR Bachelor's Degree with experience working in a corporate legal department or law firm. Additional relevant work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint . Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience drafting legal documents. Paralegal certificate or state-designated paralegal certification. Experience working within a corporate legal department. Retail industry experience. Demonstrated expertise in developing professional presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint. #J-18808-Ljbffr
