Position at AMBA Insurance Benefits Representative (1099, Independent Contractor) Location: Missouri | Compensation: Commission + Bonuses | Schedule: Self-Managed, Full-Time Commitment About AMBA For over 65 years, AMBA has proudly served retired public servants by offering access to supplemental insurance benefits they may not receive through traditional retirement plans. In Missouri, AMBA is the exclusive endorsed provider for the Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals , Missouri Retired Teachers Association , and the Missouri State Teachers Association giving direct access to their members and communities. - Meet virtually or in person with association members to understand their needs and recommend supplemental insurance solutions.
- Educate clients through one-on-one consultations, webinars, and group presentations.
- Use a consultative sales approach to help retirees protect their health, income, and legacy — including options like Fixed Indexed Annuities for long-term retirement planning.
- Stay engaged with ongoing training, mentorship, and business planning to continuously improve your performance.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a self-starter attitude
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A commitment to providing exceptional service and follow-through
- A Life & Health license (or willingness to obtain — we’ll guide you through the process)
- A desire to grow your income and independence with a performance-driven model
- Performance-based commissions with advanced payouts and lifetime vesting
- No income cap — average first-year earnings of $70K–$90K, with top agents earning $100K+
