Step into a rewarding contract assignment providing physical therapy services to K-12 students near Warwick, RI. This short-term role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled, empathetic PT who enjoys working with diverse age groups in a school-based setting. In this role, you’ll contribute to the growth and development of students, supporting their individual needs and collaborating with educational teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Deliver physical therapy services to a caseload of 16 students, grades K-12
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to promote student success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by the school and district guidelines
• Provide consultative support to school staff for student accessibility and inclusion
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as needed

Qualifications and experience:

• Current Rhode Island PT licensure required
• Experience in a school setting valued (but not required)
• Strengths in relationship-building, communication, and collaborative practice
• Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize a small caseload efficiently
• Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive environment for students of all abilities

This assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through June 16, typically requiring one day per week on site (8 hours per month). Compensation for this role is highly competitive, reflecting a pay range of $45-$50 per hour, delivered via weekly paychecks.
