An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced Occupational Therapist to support a K-12 school setting near East Providence, RI. This contract assignment is designed for professionals ready to make an impact, covering a leave for approximately 6-12 weeks with immediate start through to early December. The schedule is ideal for those seeking flexibility, requiring commitment just one day each week for 7.5 hours, all on-site.

This assignment provides the perfect setting to expand your background in pediatric and school-based occupational therapy while working directly with students across a variety of grade levels. You'll be able to utilize your assessment, intervention, and documentation skills, collaborate with school staff, and make a tangible difference in student outcomes.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current OT licensure in Rhode Island (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience within school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities
• Willingness to work on-site and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong understanding of IEPs, assessments, and documentation requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to K-12 students as outlined in IEPs
• Conduct evaluations, develop goals, and create treatment plans
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reporting
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs
