Capital Accountant Tonawanda, NY, United States | req32494 What you will enjoy doing* You will establish, monitor, and close capital projects in collaboration with project managers Oversee asset acquisitions, retirements, transfers, and depreciation using the JD Edwards ERP system Perform month-end system close and reporting procedures Further, you will complete monthly & quarterly account reconciliations Conduct plant reviews to ensure accurate records and strong internal controls What makes you great You have a bachelor's degree in accounting Two to four (2-4) years of public accounting and/or corporate accounting experience Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards Strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities You have ability to quickly learn new processes and concepts to support evolving business needs Demonstrated ability to multitask Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders Ability to thrive in a diverse and inclusive team environment, contributing to a culture of respect, integrity, and belonging Why you will love working with us Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion. Pay commensurate with experience.
