Travel Electrician

Position Summary TEKsystems is seeking experienced Electricians to support a nationwide access control installation project. This role is ideal for professionals with commercial electrical experience who enjoy travel and working as part of a collaborative installation team.
The Electrician will partner with a Low Voltage/Data Technician to install and commission access control infrastructure at customer locations across the country. Candidates must be comfortable traveling extensively, working in a fast-paced environment, and maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.

* 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

* 100% travel required for the duration of the project
* Company vehicle provided
* Valid driver's license required
Key Responsibilities
* Install and terminate high-voltage power circuits to designated power supply locations.
* Mount and wire power supplies, backup power systems, and associated electrical components.
* Install EMT conduit systems, including bends, connectors, couplings, supports, and straps.
* Install junction boxes and pull boxes as needed based on project requirements.
* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC standards, local codes, and customer specifications.
* Verify proper grounding and power distribution for access control equipment.
* Collaborate with Low Voltage/Data Technicians during installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues and support project completion within established timelines.
* Adhere to all site safety requirements and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience installing and terminating high-voltage power circuits.
* Experience mounting and wiring power supplies and backup power systems.
* Experience installing conduit systems and related electrical infrastructure.
* Strong understanding of electrical safety practices and applicable electrical codes.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a customer-facing environment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Team Structure Each installation team will consist of:

* 1 Licensed or Experienced Electrician
* 1 Low Voltage/Data Technician
Together, the team will support the installation of network-connected access control systems, including electrical power infrastructure, low-voltage cabling, equipment enclosures, and related components.

*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $33.00/hr.
