• Experience: 2+ years of recent PCU experience; experience in similar patient populations preferred

What You'll Do

• Provide expert nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a 22-bed unit
• Manage common cases including burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial surgeries
• Perform special procedures such as burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
• Document patient care using EPIC systems
• Administer medications via Pyxis system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Float within OSU as needed, ensuring flexibility and support
• Assist with patient assessments, care planning, and discharge planning
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Ohio or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years recent PCU experience
• Familiarity with hospital systems such as EPIC and Pyxis
• Strong clinical skills in adult and geriatric patient care
• Preferred: charge nurse experience, teaching hospital background, experience with burn and reconstructive procedures
