Medical Malpractice Paralegal

Brickell law firm has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Medical Malpractice Defense Paralegal. Responsibilities Assist attorneys throughout all phases of medical malpractice litigation Manage and maintain case files from inception through trial Review, organize, and summarize medical records Prepare medical chronologies, deposition summaries, and case summaries Draft pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, notices, and correspondence Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, expert witness meetings, and trial preparation Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, healthcare providers, and opposing counsel Monitor litigation deadlines and maintain attorney calendars Assist with trial exhibits, witness files, and courtroom preparation Perform electronic court filings in Florida state and federal courts Support attorneys with additional litigation-related responsibilities as needed Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of recent medical malpractice defense paralegal experience Strong knowledge of Florida state court procedures, litigation deadlines, and e-filing requirements Experience reviewing and organizing extensive medical records Ability to prepare medical chronologies and deposition summaries Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize multiple assignments while meeting deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and litigation document management systems Trial experience is preferred Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
