LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Benefits Coordinator with at least 3 years of experience working in a similar role. This is Temp to Perm opportunity within the Nonprofit industry, located in Manhattan, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a primary resource for employees regarding benefit programs, including eligibility, coverage options, plan provisions, enrollment questions, and account-related needs.
• Partner with benefit vendors, insurance carriers, and brokers to ensure eligible employees are enrolled accurately and receive the appropriate coverage.
• Organize and facilitate benefits orientations for newly eligible employees, including union populations, and coordinate educational sessions during annual open enrollment.
• Manage employee benefit enrollments, coverage updates, qualifying life event changes, and terminations across all benefit programs.
• Ensure benefit elections and midyear changes are processed in accordance with Section 125 requirements and applicable plan guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date benefit records, supporting documentation, and information related to qualifying life events and employee coverage changes.
• Update and audit benefit information within Paycom, ensuring payroll deductions, employee elections, and benefit records are reflected correctly.
• Assist with benefits-related compliance tracking, including ACA reporting and other required benefit documentation.
• Support the Director of Benefits with monthly carrier invoice reviews, identifying discrepancies and reconciling employee participation and coverage levels.
• Prepare and distribute required benefit notices, employee communications, and plan-related materials.
• Assist with COBRA and HIPAA administration and help maintain compliance with applicable benefit regulations and requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external benefit partners to research and resolve enrollment, eligibility, deduction, and coverage discrepancies. xhyhwjd
• Respond to employee benefit inquiries in a timely manner while providing clear explanations of available plans, policies, and processes.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of Employee Benefits experience

Salary: $30-35/hr
