Our client is a successful and growing organization looking to identify an experienced  Bookkeeper . This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys managing day-to-day financial operations and keeping the books accurate for a  multi-million-dollar business ($6MM+ annually) .

Position Overview

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for full-cycle bookkeeping activities, including  Accounts Payable (AP) ,  Accounts Receivable (AR) , billing, and general financial record maintenance. This position supports operational expenses such as  truck toll tags, vehicle registrations , and recurring bill payments, while ensuring timely invoicing and cash flow accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day  bookkeeping functions with accuracy and consistency
• Manage  Accounts Payable , including vendor bills, truck toll tag charges, registrations, and recurring expenses
• Handle  Accounts Receivable , including invoicing customers and applying payments
• Ensure timely payment of bills and maintain organized financial records
• Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end close activities
• Maintain and update financial data in  QuickBooks Online
• Generate basic financial reports and support leadership with accounting insights
• Use  Microsoft Excel to track, reconcile, and analyze financial data

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar accounting role
• Strong knowledge of  AP, AR, and general bookkeeping practices
• Experience supporting a  high-volume or multi-million-dollar operation
• Proficiency in  QuickBooks Online
• Strong working knowledge of  Microsoft Office Suite , especially  Excel
• High attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
