Financial Reporting Manager

Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid) Overview We are seeking a highly analytical and technically strong Financial Reporting Manager to join a dynamic and growing organization in Miami. This role offers a unique blend of SEC reporting and FP&A responsibilities, ideal for a candidate who thrives in both technical accounting and strategic finance environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in SEC reporting, combined with the ability to analyze financial performance and support business decision-making. Big 4 experience and CPA certification are highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Lead preparation and review of SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K Ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements Draft financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A disclosures Partner with auditors and manage the external audit process Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes Perform variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance Build and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives Collaborate with senior leadership on business performance and key metrics Drive process improvements across reporting and planning functions Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA certification required 6–10+ years of experience in accounting/finance Strong SEC reporting experience (public company or Big 4) Prior Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred Experience with financial planning & analysis (FP&A) highly desired Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial modeling Familiarity with systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or Hyperion is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with executive leadership Competitive base salary + bonus High visibility role with exposure to executive leadership Opportunity to impact both reporting and strategic finance initiatives Why Join Us?
