Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse

Schedule

Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule from 06:45 AM to 05:00 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid PA nursing license and will be responsible for scrubbing and circulating in all types of cardiovascular surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for all types of cardiovascular surgeries.
• Provide quality care in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficiency.
• Document patient care and procedures using the Cerner (Surginet) electronic charting system.
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid PA nursing license.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cardiovascular surgery.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Level I trauma experience is mandatory.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.
• Ability to float to general OR and other facilities as needed.
