divh2Wire Technician/h2pThe Wire Technician operates detail-sensitive machines making small parts and works with their hands on small, detailed projects./ppThis is a weekend night shift. Working hours are 6:00 pm - 6:30 am, Friday - Sunday. This position is eligible for additional shift differential pay./ppResponsibilities include:/pulliPerform equipment setup, operation, repair, and basic daily/weekly preventative maintenance tasks to meet all standards for safety, quality, and efficiency./liliMaintain machine raw material feeds, perform any fault clearing and clear stoppages on automated equipment./liliUtilize human machine interfaces (HMIs) to identify and correct shifts in process control./liliEnsure adequate raw material is prepared correctly and jobs are on schedule/liliAble to utilize computer systems to support material inventory and quality management processes./liliPerform routine cleaning/inspection/lubrication of machinery./liliAble to use measuring tools to assess process stability and product quality/liliWorks from specifications, work orders, and general instructions from Supervisor./liliSafely follow standard operating procedures including but not limited to material handling, record keeping, packaging, and shipment preparation./liliIdentify and report discrepancies in quality, safety and process execution/liliEnsure adherence to SOPs and regulatory standards (FDA 21CFR, ISO 13495, cGMP)/liliAble to work in small groups and cross functional teams to troubleshoot issues, identify and implement collective corrective actions./liliMaintain a clean work environment suitable for medical device manufacturing./liliPerforms other duties as required./li/ulpRequired Skills and Competencies include:/pulliSelf-starter capable of dealing with a variety of tasks in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment./liliMust be proficient in English language to be able to read documentation, communicate, and write./liliIdeal candidate will have keen eye for quality, is dependable, and will work collaboratively within a team, and possess a positive attitude./liliMechanical Aptitude Knowledge of and experience with automated machines and tools, including design, uses, repair, and maintenance./liliProduction Processing Knowledge of raw materials, measurement instruments, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for the manufacture and distribution of goods./liliMathematics Knowledge of basic arithmetic, algebra and/or geometry./li/ulpPreferred Education and Experience include:/pulliHigh School Diploma/GED/liliExperience in manufacturing/liliExperience with assembling, debugging, and optimizing discrete component assembly processes/li/ulpPhysical Requirements include:/pulliRequired to stand for at least 75% of working time per shift, with walking at least 50% of working time per shift./liliRequired to reach above shoulder frequently and below waist occasionally./liliRequired to push and pull./liliAbility to lift up to 20lbs occasionally, 5-10lbs frequently./li/ulpThe position is working on-site at our Acton, MA location./ppCompensation Benefits: For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $18.16 - $27.24. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
