ASCP Certified Medical Technologist (MT / MLS)
MLR is looking for a skilled and dedicated Medical Technologist to join our dynamic team in Pennsylvania. In this position, you will conduct a range of essential laboratory tests and procedures vital for diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases. Key responsibilities include analyzing samples, interpreting test results, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring precise documentation.
Shift/Schedule:
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday
Responsibilities for a Medical Technologist:
- Conduct laboratory tests on specimens such as blood, urine, and tissue samples.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Analyze test results and report findings accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret data and provide clinical correlation.
Requirements for a Medical Technologist:
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
- ASCP or equivalent certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) (preferred, but not required).
- PA License.
- 6 years minimum experience REQUIRED.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
