As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. You will respond to concerns, communicate professionally, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $27.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 01:00 AMSun03:00 PM - 01:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures. Maintain authorized armed equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements: Experience using handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred. An armed guard card or license is preferred. A valid firearms permit is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
