As an Armed Patrol Professional at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. This armed role requires an Armed Guard Card or License and offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and customer concerns in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, helping to deter theft, trespassing, disorderly conduct, and other unauthorized activity.
• Document incidents, patrols, and observations accurately; communicate relevant information to site leadership, law enforcement, and Allied Universal management as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess CPR and/or First Aid certification, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
