As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.65 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior areas, entry points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verifying credentials and directing guests to appropriate locations. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
